Mission Responsibilities History Transportation HISTORY 27 years ago our founder, S. Walter Jackson, had a dream of a community-based program that would offer addiction treatment services for the Five Points community. More importantly, Walter Jackson didn't just dream, he went to work. He organized the community. He gained support from a wide range of social investors to finance the services. He recruited a strong personnel staff that understood the challenges of addiction in a perosnal and professional way. He gave to the community what they wanted and needed. He made his dream a reality! That dream is still alive and requires the same hard work, community support, sensitive and competent staff and the dedication to those we serve. We enter this year with a renewed sense of purpose, commitment and a touch of Walter's spirit. The result is a host of new programs and services that will be initiated in the future.
